Omar McCrorey is a Rock Hill, SC born and based entrepreneur and philanthropist dedicated to community support. As a disabled Army OIF veteran, he earned an Associates degree in Business Administration from Everest University online, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2015. After six years of military service, Omar returned to Rock Hill in 2005. He initially worked as an ultrasonic technician at a steel plant before pursuing his real estate license. After exploring various ventures, he realized his life’s purpose was to care for and serve God’s people. He has studied diverse crafts, including cinematography, website building with WordPress, and video editing. In 2009, he began teaching himself coding but soon discovered it wasn't his passion. In 2013, he attended an idea night at a new business accelerator in Rock Hill, where he conceptualized a platform for local businesses to advertise and support homeless families and individuals in need. In 2025, he founded the nonprofit Tithe Tribe, aimed at providing direct cash assistance to help supplement the income of the homeless and those in need. Omar is married and a father of two daughters. He cherishes time spent with his family and enjoys cleaning up his neighborhood, gardening, sidewalk recovery, leaf blowing, filming, editing, and taking courses on Udemy and other learning platforms. Committed to philanthropy, Omar strives to improve his community and the environment through acts of social responsibility and kindness.
